Instructions[edit | edit source]

Video Webex Instructions

Go to the Task List and sign out a group of counties to work on.

The map we will be resizing is found under the Maps heading and is a large white county location map. Some of these will have already been resized, but we are focusing on the ones that are larger than 400 pixels.

1. Go to the Maps section of the county page and click on edit and go into wikitext. In most cases the white county location map will be the first line of wikitext. It should look like this:

2.. The 600px part indicates the size of the image. Change the 600px to 400px. If it is already at 400px, you don't need to do anything and you can move on to the next county.

3. Once you have resized the image, enter "resized map" in the Edit Summary Box at the bottom of the page and click on the Save button.

4. Be sure to go back and look at the map and be sure you resized it correctly.

5. Once you have checked your work, go on to the next county. When you have finished your counties, go back to the Task List and indicate the date you completed your work.
