Part 1

1. Click on the Department link in the Task List.
2. This will take you to the "Creación de DEPARTMENT NAME, Perú - Genealogía" page.
3. Copy the following code and paste into the blank wiki page:

4. Replace DEPARTMENT NAME, PROVINCE NAME and PAGE NAME with their respective terms. Do not replace PAGE NAME IN ENGLISH WIKI.
5. Save page.

Part 2

1. This project adds content to the blank province pages. Click on the Department link in the Task List. Then click on the province link. This takes you to the "Creación de PROVINCE NAME, DEPARTMENT NAME, Perú - Genealogía" page.

2. Copy the following code and paste into the blank wiki page. Documents with the province information will be emailed to you.

3. Transfer information from the document to the blank project page. Copy the text for each bullet point. Period at the end. Add and subtract bullet points as needed. Bullet points are created using an asterisk. Make sure any diacritic marks stay the same. Populate each section on the page as follows:

4. Historia section:

  • Copy the text for each bullet point.
  • Add period at the end.
  • For the Citas sentence (starts with <ref>) add Spanish Wikipedia article name, link to the article and date. Move behind the last period and make sure there is a space between the period and <ref>.
    • Link: copy the link from the document.
    • Article name: click on the link in the document and copy the article name.
    • Date: format as DAY de MONTH, YEAR. Example: Visitado el 2 de septiembre, 2018.

5. Registro civil:

  • Add link and collection name from the document to the first sentence.
  • If there are no records listed use the second sentence.

6. Registros parroquiales:

  • Add link and collection name from the document to the first sentence.
  • If there are no records listed use the second sentence.

7. Censos:

  • Ver la página del departamento para información del censo.

(This sentence directs the user to the department level where census records are kept.)

NOTE: If all of the above records are missing, delete the following code:

8. Cementerios:

  • Add cemeteries from the document.
  • If there are no cemeteries listed delete the asterisk.

9. Save the page.
