Adding a record collection to Marriage section

Instructions

  1. Open the task list.


  2. Go to Part 6 at the bottom of the page. The following photo illustrates where you can find it:

  4. Place your name by the page that you want to edit.


  5. Click on the link in the "Page" column to take you to the page.

  7. Once on the page, look for "Marriages" in the table of contents, click on that link.

  9. This will take you to the "Marriages" section of the page. Click on the edit source button next to the heading.

  11. Copy the following code:
    *'''1640-1955''' {{RecordSearch|2658554|Connecticut, Charles R. Hale Collection, Vital Records, 1640-1955}} — index


  12. Paste it into the text box right under ====Marriages====. It will look like the following:

  14. Click "Show preview" to make sure that the collection was copied correctly. It should look like the following:

  16. If everything looks good, save the page. If something is off, correct the code and then save the page.


  17. Once you've finished adding the collection, go back to the task list, mark the date you completed it in the "Date" column, and move on to the next page.
