Now that the rest of the content for the Sweden parish pages has been updated, we need up update the format of the place names list to match the established layout.

Instructions[edit | edit source]

1. Open the Task List and add your name to column A "Name" for the parishes you'd like to work on.

2. Open the parish page and locate the "Place Names" heading on the page.

  • Note: If there are no places listed in the "Place Names" heading, write "SKIP" in column A & B of the task list, and continue on to the next parish in the task list.

3. Click "Edit source" next to the "Place Names" heading.

4. Copy the following code and paste it immediately above the first place name in the list.

5. Locate the separations of the place names by each letter of the alphabet. Add <li> immediately before the first place name in each letter of the alphabet.

6. Add </li> to the end of the last place name in each letter of the alphabet. See the example below.

  • Note: remove any extra "<br>" instances separating letters of the alphabet.
  • Note: remove the last comma at the end of each letter of the alphabet

7. On the line below the last group of place names (and after any "<ref>" citation code), add the following code:

8. If there are more items or bullet points that are not place names, but are still under the "Places" heading, add two breaks <br><br> underneath the place names, but above the additional content.

9. Click "Show preview", and verify that the place names appear correctly on the page (such as the example below).

10. Add the following statement to the edit Summary:

11. Click "Save page", and continue on to the next parish.
