  • Here is the Correct WikiText way

  • This is a correctly named New England Town page with correct breadcrumbs
  • Notice the breadcrumbs on the Town page match the name of the place put in after the pipe in the correct WikiText breadcrumb below
  • Before the pipe, the name of the Wiki page is used, and always has Genealogy at the end
  • If the name of the Wiki Page is wrong let me know in the notes section in the Task List

  • Put your name next to a town you want to work on
  • Click on the link to open the town Wiki page

Step One

  • Steps to fixing breadcrumbs
  • First, from the Town page you have opened, click on the breadcrumb links at the top of the page and open new tabs for the County, State, and United States
  • Keep them open, just in case you need to fix links 1-3
  • Look over each link to see if it needs to be fixed
  • You can copy and paste the name of the page you need into the breadcrumb link to fix it


  • Link1= Country level image
  • This link never changes, so if it is different from this please fix
  • The correct way is:
