Finding England Hundred Broken Links

Purpose

Identify the Hundred each parish is assigned to. Note if the Hundred is a parish and if its link is broken.

Instructions

Find Hundreds

1. Open the above Task List. The screenshot is below.

Choose a county from the bottom of the page.


2. Choose a parish from the list by putting your name in the "Name" column.

Click on the parish name to go to the parish page (links are embedded in the parish names).


3. From the main page right click on the Derbyshire Parishes link to open this page. You will want to keep this page open while working in this county.

4. Back on the main parish page, in the right sidebar, under Civil Jurisdictions is the Hundred we are looking for.
Look at the name of the Hundred and see if the font is red, indicating a broken link.

5 Click on the open parish list page and look for the Hundred name in that list.

6. Go to the task list and enter the information into the columns for that parish.

Problem Hundreds

1. Here is an example of a problem you may encounter. In this example, there are multiple hundreds listed.

In the task list I put the names of the three hundreds listed. After checking the parish list, I found that only one was a parish. In the Is it a Parish column, I put Y/N. I included a short explanation of my findings in the Notes column.
