  • NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.

Beginning Instructions[edit | edit source]

There are five new collections that need to be added separately to municipality pages.

1. You will need to sign up for a county under a collection title tab on the Task List.
2. Go to the instructions for the specific collection below.

Ecuador, Catholic Church Records, 1565-2011[edit | edit source]

Step One[edit | edit source]

Sign your name next to a county on the Ecuador Catholic Church tab of the task list.

  • NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Step Two[edit | edit source]

Using the links on the task list, click the municipality you want to work on.

Step Three[edit | edit source]

In the contents, select Parish Records. This should jump you down to the Subheading Parish Records. You can also just scroll down to this subheading. (Note, it may be Parish Records or Church Records. It's okay either way.)

Step Four[edit | edit source]

  • Click Edit Source next to Parish Records.

  • Copy the following code and paste it in numerical order by date.

If this entry is already on the page:

  • Replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.
  • If there are no other entries with dates, put this as the first bullet.
  • If there is a note about there being no online records available, please replace that note with this link.
