Purpose[edit | edit source]
These new collections need to be added to all municipality pages in Costa Rica.
Task List[edit | edit source]
- NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.
Beginning Instructions[edit | edit source]
There are five new collections that need to be added separately to municipality pages.
1. You will need to sign up for a county under a collection title tab on the Task List.
2. Go to the instructions for the specific collection below.
Costa Rica, Catholic Church Records, 1595-1992[edit | edit source]
Step One[edit | edit source]
Sign your name next to a locality on the CR Catholic Church tab of the task list.
- NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.
Step Two[edit | edit source]
Using the links on the task list, click the municipality you want to work on.
Step Three[edit | edit source]
In the contents, select Church Records. This should jump you down to the Subheading Church Records. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.
Step Four[edit | edit source]
- Click Edit Source next to Church Records.
- Copy the following code and paste it in numerical order by date.
If this entry is already on the page:
- Replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.
- If there are no other entries with dates, put this as the first bullet.
- If there is a note about there being no online records available, please replace that note with this link.

In the contents, select Cemeteries. This should jump you down to the Subheading Cemeteries. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.
Step Four[edit | edit source]
- Click Edit Source next to Cemeteries.
- Copy the following code and paste directly under the header. This will make it the first bullet. Here is an example:
