Add Infobox to Norway Parish Pages

Purpose

The other Scandinavian countries have infoboxes on each parish page. Norway doesn't yet. This project will be adding the Infobox template to each Norway parish page.

Instructions

Step 1 - Sign up for a Span of Parishes

1. Go to the Task List and sign up for a span of pages.

2. Go to the first parish page in your assignment.

Step 2 - Copy the Code

3. Copy the following code:

| Stift/Bispedømme/Diocese = add here
| Prosti = add here

Step 3 - Paste the Code


4. Click Edit Source on the parish page.

5. Paste the code ONE LINE ABOVE the Church Records heading.

6. Add the parish name to the title section of the infobox code.

  • Example: Asker Parish, Askerhus, Norway title is typed as Asker Parish.


  • Note: If the parish name has any foreign characters (including Å, Ø, Æ), make sure to copy and paste the characters into the title section.
