County Information

Description

Crenshaw County was created on 24 November 1866 and was named in honor of a judge, Anderson Crenshaw.[2] Its county seat is Luverne.[3] It is located in the south-central area of the state.

Probate Judge has marriage, probate and land records from 1866. Clerk Circuit Court has divorce and court records.[4]
