British Columbia Information

British Columbia became the sixth province in Canada in July 20, 1871. It is the most western province in the country.[1] The arrival of the railway in the mid-1880s opened the area to immigrants from the United States, Great Britain and Europe, as well as migrants from eastern Canada.[2] See British Columbia History for more information.
