County Information

Description

Baldwin County was created on 21 December 1809 and named in honor of Senator Abraham Baldwin, minister, patriot, politician, and Founding Father who signed the United States Constitution though he never lived in what is now Alabama. Its county seat is Bay Minette.[2] It is located in the southwestern area of the state.[3]
