Algeria is a country in Africa bordered by Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, and Niger. Algeria was under Ottoman Empire rule from 1510-1830. Then it was under France's rule from 1830-1962. The official languages are Arabic and Berber.[1]
