Alberta Information

Alberta was created from the Northwest Territories to became the tenth province in Canada in September 1, 1905. It is one of the three prairie provinces of Canada. It is bordered on the west by the province of British Columbia, Saskatchewan on the east, and Northwest Territories to the north. The U.S. state of Montana borders Alberta to the south.[1] See Alberta History for more information.
